My House

MY HOUSE is a non-profit corporation founded to provide temporary shelter, transitional housing and permanent housing to homeless children and their parents throughout metropolitan New Orleans. MY HOUSE also seeks to provide all the support services that are needed to best serve the interests of those children, including early childhood education, appropriate health care, supervision and proper nutrition.

Sister Jane Remson, O. Carm., president of NOAAHH is one of the founding members of MY HOUSE. Not satisfied with NOAAHH's success raising money to distribute to organizations serving the hungry and homeless, Sr. Jane saw a need in the community to specifically address the problems facing homeless children. She has worked tirelessly with civic and community leaders to make this program an impactful and important source of pride.
